FILM POSTERS
FRANCE

The Film Posters for France all follow a theme, with all four posters featuring one main protagonist, on the front cover.
In addition to this, the face is the only feature present on the front cover of the poster.
In terms of colour palettes, there is a variety of different colours used, within all four posters.
Whilst the first poster follows a minimalistic and simple colour scheme, with black and white, the second poster uses a bright red shade, throughout the entire front poster, which immediately engages the audience within the front cover.
In contrast to this, the third poster features a red, yellow and light green colour scheme, which correlates with the image presented, of a young girl, emphasising a youthful poster.
The final poster on the right hand side, features a simple background colour black, alongside a red, blue and white colour palette, which embodies the protagonists hat.
All three colours present a french flag, and perhaps symbolises the main protagonists main identity, with the colours all contributing towards a french flag.
GERMAN

The first poster features a female protagonist, Audrey Hepburn, who is considered as an influential figure, as she was well known for being a British actress, dancer and humanitarian. Audrey Hepburn was recognised as a film and fashion icon, as she was active during Hollywood's Golden Age.
The colour palette featured on the poster is pink, blue and pink contributing to a fun and playful poster, as it catches the audiences attention immediately.
The second poster presents a skull like face, with a white, pink and red colour theme.
The use of the pink and red colours, are juxtaposed against the white and black background, engaging the audiences attention instantly.
In contrast, the third poster shown features a female protagonist whom appears to be wearing a red and yellow dress, with a white/ grey background. It is the dress which stands out, to the audience, and this allows the audience to consider the protagonists role, within the film.
The final poster holds a dark and murky theme, with the use of a dark blue, black and white colour palette. This suggests to the audience the genre/ theme of the film.

POLISH

The first poster presents a male figure, holding what appears to be a lipstick. This creates an immediate juxtaposition between a feminine object, and a male figure. This indicates to the audience that perhaps the protagonist on the poster has more than one set identity. Notably, the eyes are not evident, suggesting that the protagonist is hiding their true self/ identity. It is the bright red, which also appears to stand out the audience.
The second poster shows a male protagonist, whose full face is not presented. The face is split in half, as a set of stairs are formed, above half of the face. A female figure appears to be standing up above these stairs, as she stands seductively. This divide, could potentially present a division between the two protagonists relationship.
The third poster, features two red boxing gloves, which form a heart. This red heart is juxtaposed against a black background, alongside a silver and red colour palette for the title, which reads 'ROCKY'. It is the use of the red boxing gloves, which attracts the audience towards the poster.
The final poster can be considered to be simplistic. The main image includes half an arm, a snake and a red apple. This foreshadows the motive of the protagonist. It also suggests to the audience that a theme of deception, manipulation and temptation are apparent within the film.
